Description

Cabins
There are over a hundred cabins spread throughout almost the entire reserve. They can each sleep 2 to 16 people. Most of them are by a lake and have running water and facilities powered by propane gas or electricity. They have everything you need to prepare and serve meals. Each of them has a shower and washrooms. New! During summer, in addition to a rowboat for exploring the waterways, your vacation cabin booking also includes a kayak and a barbecue.

During winter, the Camp Mercier sector is transformed into an activity centre with 19 cabins connected by a network of cross-country skiing trails. Snowshoeing trails are also accessible from the cabins. An inner tube slide and a fully maintained skating rink with a heated hut are located near the cabins at Lac-à-Noël, Lac Pécan and Devlin sectors. Cabin rental includes a day pass for skiing and snowshoeing at Camp Mercier and access to the toboggan hills and skating rink. Available in the Lac-à-Noël, Pécan and Devlin sectors.

Modik Cabins
Ten new Modik cabins are offered to fishermen in those sectors:

  • Ailloux sector (3 new Modik cabins)
  • Belle-Rivière sector (2 new Modik cabins)
  • Lac-à-Jack sector (5 new Modik cabins)

For the three sectors, it is possible to fish the lake in front of the cabins at all times.

Ready-to-camp

New! Four new Étoile ready-to-camp sites will be offered in summer 2019 in the Lac-Brûlé sector. The cube-shaped Étoile ready-to-camp is supported by a canvas-sealed wood structure. In addition to offering more height and more storage, it’s perfectly integrated with the natural setting.

At km 57 of Route 169, the Belle-Rivière campground has about thirty campsites under tall white pines, including 4 ready-to-camp tents (numbers 3, 8, 9 and 11). This peaceful campground is on the shores of a lake where you can go fishing. You can also rent kayaks, canoes, row boats and bicycles, and enjoy some beautiful hiking trails.

Lodge Porte-de-l'Enfer and Lac-des-Neiges available
