Railway History Interpretation Centre - Caboose

A caboose is set up on the edge of the Shannon Bike Path, showcasing part of our region’s railway history. The region’s railway has an impressive history of ingenuity with the challenge taken up in the late 1860s by those who wanted to save Québec City from a wood shortage. The caboose was refurbished to house this interpretive centre in 2011.

This little piece of the history of the railroad right-of-way makes for a nice bike ride on this cycling path.
