The Parc du Grand-Héron is an enchanting site bordering the Rivière Jacques-Cartier.
It’s the perfect place for many summer and winter activities!
In the summer, you will find a ramp for motorized boats (15 hp maximum), ball parks, soccer fields, beach volleyball courts, a skateboard park, play and exercise areas, and picnic spots.
The Chemin de La Liseuse has a 16 km round-trip route hike and bike path. This winding, flat trail offers several views of the Rivière Jacques-Cartier. You can also enjoy poetry with your outdoor excursion. Take the time to pause at the six stops along the way and read texts by Anne Hébert and Hector de Saint-Denys Garneau.
Dogs on a leash are permitted in the Parc du Grand-Héron (except during major events), but are NOT allowed on the bike path, Chemin de La Liseuse, and on the sports fields.
